Once upon a time there was this boy, well he's still a boy...
Only a bit older...
Anyways, here's the truth.
How it all started!
Mike Bonanza.
Practically born with an instrument in his hands.
Practically born into rock'n'roll.
Mike Bonanza.
Practically... is rock'n'roll!
His granpa, an accordian wizzard, was a great inspiration.
His pa, also an accordian player, well, not exactly a wizzard, but yet an inspitation.
There were uncles who taught him the rock'n'roll.
Another uncle introduced to the wonderful world of the guitar.
The instrument
Though he always wanted to be a guitarist, it was the fiddle who was his first instumentet.
That was not a big hit, I can tell ya that...
But it wasn't his fault. His teacher couldn't catch the talent within Mike, so he gave it up.
At the age of 13 he got first guitar, an acoustic nylon stringed thing.
With that he started to clime to the top of guitar playin'.
It was a lotta practicin' from now on an' a lotta drivin' parents nuts.
He used to bring the guitar with him everywhere, an' I mean everywhere!
But today we know it was worth it!
An' we also know today that the circle is closed.
Mike is back at the fiddle, a larger on though.
The doghouse bass!
An' we all know how Mike an' the bass are gettin' along... Right!?!
There been some bands that come an' gone thru the years.
Of course he still plays the guitar, at home an' in a band,
but now the bass is his first choice.
