Mike, who had played guitar in a band called El Loco,
a band that played country/rock'a'billy, wanted
to play in a band with a doghouse-bass again.
But such a bassplayer wasn't that easy to find in Eskilstuna.
So he talked to Kenneth and said;
I'm gonna buy myself a bass and then we form a band!
So they did.
In late December 2007 FatSlap was formed.
Kenneth knew this drummer, Roger and he joined the line up.
The second guitarist is Bo, which, Mike and Kenneth played with before.
So now the only thing they needed was songs...
Luckily, that was no problem.
Both Mike and Kenneth started to write song after song.
They have about 40 songs so far.
Most of them recorded live in their rehearsal studio.
In October 2007, the first gig took place.
In a local pub, called Josef's Blues House and
it was a success.
The audience liked the music and the performance of the band
has just got better the more gigs they've had.
So thats were the band FatSlap is now!
Looking for more gigs and writing more songs.
